About Us

We have been around since 2018 and have already grown to be one of Ireland's largest surveyors.


We started the company after both our founders (Noel and Eoin) went through the house-buying process in the same year and saw firsthand the complexity and stress facing buyers.


So they decided to try and fix that - starting with finding a surveyor - and GetHouseSurvey.ie was born!


Our Specialty

We specialize in Pre-Purchase Surveys on second-hand properties and snag lists on new builds.


You will hear surveys go by many names, including Structural Survey, Engineer's Report, Property Survey, Building Survey, House Survey, Architects Report, pre-purchase survey, and several more names. For the purpose of buying a second-hand property, they are all the same and check the same elements.


Sample Survey

Our surveys are conducted to a level that is higher than the industry standard (SCSI Type 2). We use a color-coded system so you know the severity of each issue found.


It also has a section specifically for your solicitor with any notes related to certificates of compliance/exemption or any boundary issues.

Our Pricing

We believe in transparency and simplicity with pricing and so we don't make you call, email, or fill out long forms for a quote.


These prices also include vat so there are no hidden costs.

Turnaround Time

We know how long and dragged out the Sale Agreed process can be, so when you book with us we won't leave you waiting.


We maintain a target nationwide to always have a full turnaround in 7 business days. However so far in 2023, we have an average complete turnaround time of just 4 business days. This includes getting the survey completed and the written report typed up and sent to you.


Once a survey is conducted, we don't leave you waiting for long. Most reports are written and sent within 2 days of the survey being complete.


Occasionally, due to factors beyond our control, access to the property may not be available until a later date, but this is rare and we'll always let you know.


Nationwide Coverage

We are the only surveyor in Ireland who covers every single county. When booking, just select your county from the list - they are all there!


So Carlow, Cavan, Clare, Cork, Donegal, Dublin, Galway, Kerry, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Leitrim, Limerick, Longford, Louth, Mayo, Meath, Monaghan, Offaly, Roscommon, Sligo, Tipperary, Waterford, Westmeath, Wexford, and Wicklow... We're everywhere!

There's nothing worse than hiring someone and then not knowing the status of the job. So when you book with us, we take care of everything AND keep you updated at every step of the process. So you'll also know the status of your survey and won't need to go making phone calls and chasing people down.
